Crossings Community Center offers one-time and ongoing events and programs for all ages throughout the year.
The Crossings Community Center is now offering the following free instructional fitness classes on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
CROSSINGS SUSTAINABLE BOOT CAMP • MONDAYS & FRIDAYS AT 9AM
Combine fun military-style training with fitness to increase your cardiovascular and muscular endurance power through a standing workout. Handheld weights, elastic bands, and fitness balls are alternated to strengthen the upper body with low-impact aerobics and energizing choreography set to Christian, modern, and oldie-but-goodie tunes.
CROSSINGS YOGA • WEDNESDAYS AT 9AM
Get ready for some Christ-centered gentle movements through a series of standing or seated yoga poses. This class is designed to safely increase flexibility, balance, and range of motion. Restorative breathing exercises, final relaxation, and spiritual meditation will provide stress reduction and mental clarity to enhance your exercise program! (Yoga mats are needed for this class. Please bring your own mat or use Crossings Community Center mats.)
CROSSINGS CLASSIC CHAIR AEROBICS • MONDAYS, WEDNESDAYS, & FRIDAYS AT 10AM
Have fun listening to classic tunes and Christian worship songs as you move through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of motion, and activities for daily living. Handheld weights, elastic bands, and fitness balls are offered for resistance. This is an excellent class for sustainability!
CAFE FELLOWSHIP • MONDAYS, WEDNESDAYS, & FRIDAYS AT 9, 10 & 11AM
This is a great cooldown time after each exercise class in the Crossings Community Center's Cafe. Come for a great time of Christian fellowship where you can connect and build lasting relationships with other class attendees, volunteers, and staff.
Classes are subject to change at any time and will not be held on observed holidays.
This afterschool program is designed for high school students from John Marshall. Students are picked up directly after school and bused to Crossings Community Center. From there, they get a Bible lesson, discuss character development in a small group, and are taught important life skills. Then, students and their families are welcome to share dinner and enjoy an open gym and open computer lab! The Club program follows the Oklahoma City Public Schools schedule.
